CD Weldstuds

CD weldstuds provide a fast, precise fixing solution for creating permanent threaded fixings on thin sheet metal and light gauge steel using capacitor discharge stud welding equipment. Designed specifically for applications where minimal heat input and low distortion are required, CD weldstuds are welded directly to the parent material in a fraction of a second, producing a strong, clean weld without marking the reverse side. Commonly used in sheet metal fabrication, electrical enclosures, automotive panels, stainless steel fabrication and light structural assemblies, CD weldstuds allow components to be mounted quickly and accurately without drilling or tapping.
