Backing Pads

Backing pads are essential accessories for sanding, grinding and finishing applications, providing the correct balance of support, stability and flexibility when used with angle grinders and sanders. Designed to optimise abrasive disc performance, they help maintain even pressure across the surface, reduce vibration, improve control and aid heat dissipation during operation. Suitable for workshop use, fabrication environments and on site trade work, backing pads play a key role in achieving consistent results across surface preparation, blending and stock removal tasks.

The range includes flexible backing pads for finishing, contouring and surface blending, along with hard, ribbed backing pads designed for more aggressive grinding. Velcro backing pads with hook and loop fastening are also available, allowing fast, secure disc changes where frequent abrasive swaps are required. Manufactured for high RPM operation and excellent temperature resistance, pads are suitable for use with resin fibre discs, sanding discs and other abrasive consumables. Available in common diameters including 100mm, 115mm, 125mm, 150mm and 180mm with M10 and M14 thread options, all pads are designed for compatibility with industry standard machines and reliable performance in professional trade and maintenance applications.
