Hard Facing

Hard facing electrodes provide a specialist MMA welding consumable solution for rebuilding worn components and enhancing surface resistance to abrasion, impact and metal to metal wear. Designed for professional workshop and site use, these electrodes deposit a hard, wear resistant alloy layer onto base materials, extending the service life of parts subjected to harsh operating conditions. Commonly supplied in hard facing classifications such as 650 type alloys, hard facing electrodes are widely used in quarrying, mining, agriculture, earth moving, plant maintenance and heavy engineering applications. Typical uses include rebuilding edges, surfaces and wear zones on buckets, blades, rollers, shafts, gear teeth and machinery components where repeated wear would otherwise lead to premature failure.

Supplied in commonly used electrode diameters and pack sizes, hard facing electrodes are selected for consistent arc performance, controlled deposition and reliable wear resistance. Suitable for professional trade and industrial use, they provide a practical consumable solution for cost effective component repair and maintenance, reducing downtime and replacement costs while supporting durable performance across light  to heavy duty MMA hard facing applications.
