Weld Star ER 347Si is an austenitic stainless steel MIG wire alloyed with niobium (Nb) to stabilise against intergranular carbide precipitation, ensuring enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion in high-temperature service. Its increased silicon content promotes superior weld pool fluidity and smooth bead appearance.


Ideal for joining and overlaying chromium-nickel stainless steels of similar composition, especially those stabilised with niobium or titanium, such as types 321 and 347. Precision layer wound for smooth and consistent wire feed performance.
