Weld Star ER310 is a premium austenitic stainless steel MIG wire specifically developed for welding base materials of similar composition, such as AISI 310. With a high chromium and nickel content, it offers outstanding resistance to oxidation and scaling at elevated temperatures making it ideal for high-temperature applications below 1000°C.

Fully austenitic in structure, ER310 provides excellent strength but is inherently sensitive to hot cracking, which should be considered in highly restrained joints. Its smooth arc characteristics and precision layer-wound design ensure reliable feeding and consistently clean welds in demanding thermal environments.
