Weld Star ER 307Si is an austenitic stainless steel MIG wire formulated with elevated manganese content to produce a fully austenitic weld metal in most applications. Its increased silicon level improves weld pool fluidity, resulting in smooth, attractive weld bead appearance with excellent mechanical strength and crack resistance.

This wire is ideal for dissimilar welding between stainless and carbon steels, armour plate, exhaust systems, and for depositing stress-relieving buffer layers on crack-sensitive base metals. The precision layer-wound wire ensures reliable feeding and consistent welding performance even in challenging conditions exposed to atmospheric or corrosive environments.
