Thread forming screws provide a high performance fixing solution where strong, reusable threads are formed directly into the base material without cutting. By displacing rather than removing material, they create secure internal threads with excellent resistance to loosening. Suitable for thin steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and plastics, they are manufactured to DIN 7500 standards and supplied in common sizes, head styles and corrosion resistant finishes including BZP and A2 stainless steel for engineering and assembly use.
