Self Tapping B Point

Self-tapping B point screws are designed for fixing into timber, plastics and thin sheet materials without the need for a pre tapped hole. The blunt B point and thread forming profile create their own thread during installation, providing controlled penetration and secure engagement in softer substrates. Commonly used for general assembly, electrical fittings, enclosures, cabinetry, automotive trim and light fabrication, they are manufactured to DIN 7981, DIN 7982 and DIN 7983 standards. Available in pan, countersunk and raised countersunk heads with BZP and stainless steel A2 finishes for internal and protected external use.
