High Chromium-Nickel Stainless TIG Wire for Elevated Temperature Resistance


Weld Star ER 310 is an austenitic stainless steel TIG wire engineered for welding and overlaying stainless steels with similar chemical compositions. With exceptionally high chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni) content, it offers superior oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, making it an ideal choice for demanding thermal applications up to 1000°C.


Its fully austenitic structure provides excellent corrosion resistance but may be sensitive to hot cracking under specific welding conditions.
