Weld Star ER 2594 is a low carbon, high alloy stainless steel TIG wire designed for welding stainless steels that require exceptional strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. Its carefully balanced composition provides excellent mechanical properties and improved resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion.

This alloy is especially suitable for welding stabilized and precipitation-hardened stainless steels and for overlay applications where high temperature and corrosion resistance are critical. ER 2594 is widely used in industries such as power generation, chemical processing, and aerospace.
