High Fluidity Aluminium TIG Wire for Smooth, Crack-Resistant Welds

Weld Star ER 4043 is a high-quality aluminium TIG welding wire containing 5% silicon, designed for joining aluminium alloys with up to 2% alloying elements and suitable for applications involving alloys with up to 7% silicon content. The added silicon significantly enhances fluidity and wetting action, making this filler wire a top choice for welders seeking smooth, clean results.

Known for producing bright, smut-free welds with low sensitivity to cracking, ER 4043 is ideal for general-purpose aluminium welding. It is not recommended for anodized finishes. For thicker sections, preheating to 150°C is advised to optimise fusion and prevent distortion.
