Description
Hex head thread forming screws manufactured from zinc plated carbon steel to DIN 7500 D (Supertite type) are designed for forming strong internal threads in pre drilled holes without producing swarf. The specialised thread forming design displaces material rather than cutting it, resulting in higher pull out strength and improved joint integrity. The hex head allows high torque application using standard spanners or sockets, while the zinc plating provides cost effective corrosion resistance suitable for general internal and light duty applications.
