Description
The 1.0mm ER 2209 MIG Wire Weld Star Pack 15Kg is an austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel solid welding wire characterised by its high tensile strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Designed primarily for welding 22% chromium duplex stainless steels such as grade 2205, the weld metal provides outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. The ferrite content of the deposited weld metal is intentionally lower than that of 2205 base materials, helping to achieve balanced mechanical properties and corrosion performance. Suitable for service temperatures from cryogenic conditions up to 300°C, this precision layer wound wire delivers reliable feeding and consistent welding performance in demanding industrial environments.
