Description
The 0.6mm ER 316LSi MIG Wire Weld Star Pack 12.5Kg is an austenitic stainless steel solid welding wire with a low carbon content that reduces the risk of intergranular carbide precipitation whilst improving resistance to intergranular corrosion without the need for stabilisers such as niobium or titanium. The increased silicon content improves weld pool fluidity to produce smooth, attractive weld deposits, whilst the addition of molybdenum enhances corrosion resistance and creep resistance in halide-containing environments. Ideal for welding low-carbon molybdenum-bearing stainless steels including grades 316, 316L and 316Ti, this precision layer wound wire delivers consistent feedability and excellent welding performance in demanding fabrication applications.
