CD Weldstud DIN 525 – Copper Plated

CD weldstuds manufactured to DIN 525 in copper are designed for capacitor discharge stud welding onto thin sheet metal and light gauge steel. They create a strong, permanent threaded fixing with very low heat input, minimising distortion and preventing marking on the reverse side of the parent material.

Welded in milliseconds using CD welding equipment, copper weldstuds are particularly suited to applications requiring excellent electrical conductivity and reliable weld performance. They are commonly used in electrical enclosures, earthing points and specialist fabrication where consistent weld quality and finish are critical.
