Description
The 3.2mm ER 309L TIG Filler Weld Star Pack 5Kg is an austenitic stainless steel TIG filler rod with a low carbon content designed to reduce the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation. This improves resistance to intergranular corrosion without the use of stabilising elements such as niobium or titanium. ER309L offers excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures and is widely used for joining dissimilar steels, buffer layers and stainless steels of similar composition.
