Description
The 1.6mm ER 312 TIG Filler Weld Star Pack 5Kg is an austenitic stainless steel TIG filler rod originally developed for welding cast alloys of similar composition. Producing a two-phase weld deposit containing substantial ferrite within an austenitic matrix, ER312 offers exceptional crack resistance and is particularly suited to welding dissimilar metals and difficult-to-weld steels. Its high chromium content provides excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures.
