Description
The 1.2mm ER 347Si MIG Wire Weld Star Pack 15Kg is an austenitic stainless steel solid welding wire stabilised with niobium (Nb) to provide enhanced resistance to intergranular chromium carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. Classified as AWS A5.9 ER347Si and EN ISO 14343-A G 19 9 Nb Si, it is ideal for welding and overlaying chromium-nickel stainless steels of similar composition, particularly stabilised grades 321 and 347. Increased silicon content improves weld pool fluidity to produce smooth, attractive weld deposits, whilst precision layer winding ensures consistent wire feeding and dependable performance in demanding fabrication applications. Suitable for elevated temperature service, ER347Si is widely used in the chemical, food processing and pressure vessel industries.
